The Irish Ministry of Agriculture has called on all poultry farmers to take precautions regarding bird flu.

The warnings come after reports of a suspicious outbreak at a broiler farm in Ireland have been reported in recent days, and investigations are continuing.
The Irish Ministry of Agriculture has called on growers to be alert during the current high-risk period of outbreak of bird flu.
Experts have advised producers, especially backyard poultry farms to minimize any contact between their flocks and wild birds, try to dispose of their flock feeds from wild birds and report any signs of disease occurrence to officials.
Ireland is currently at risk of bird flu due to wild bird migration patterns.
