The Lome University hosted African and European countries at the Pan-African Poultry Conference.

Representatives of the two countries on sidelines of the Transform Africa Summit discussed the opportunities available in this section. Experts believe that the economy of both countries suffers from similar challenges and the experience of both sides can overcome the existing problems.


Food security is a big issue on World Poultry Day as pork production continues to fall due to African swine fever in pigs in China while poultry is expected to fill the gap in world protein supplies.

Dr Inderjit Singh, Director Aviana says the objective of the 2019 ‘Aviana International Expo’ is to introduce livestock farmers in Nigeria to latest innovation and technology for productivity.

For the first time, the Council of Agriculture (COA) has organized a “Taiwan Pavilion” for Taiwanese firms to participate collectively in Foodex Japan 2019.
