Japan will export its poultry products to Singapore, Taiwan and South Korea

Singapore lifts the ban on Japanese poultry imports.

The Ministry of Singapore's Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries on Friday issued a license For Japanese Companies to import chicken meat, processed poultry, and egg products.

The country banned the import of poultry products in 2010 following the outbreak of avian influenza in Japan.

In line with these efforts, Tokyo is working with its business advisers to negotiate with their Singapore counterparts on exporting products to the country. Also, creating promotional campaigns for Japanese poultry products in targeted markets has been one of the measures taken by the country's producers.

Japan has tried to negotiate with South Korea and Taiwan in the past months to export its poultry products.
