Hong Kong health authorities decided hours ago to stop importing poultry products from Vietnam.

The Food Safety Center (HKSAR), has made the decision, according to a statement from the World Animal Health Organization (OIE) on the outbreak of H5N6 avian influenza virus in Ben Tre erea in Vietnam.
Imports of poultry meat and all kinds of related products, including eggs, will be banned from the area in order to protect public health in Hong Kong until further notice.
