Over the past six years, the poultry industry in the Britain has reduced its use of antibiotics by 82.2%.

The British Poultry Council has released its report on antibiotic monitoring during the year.
The authors of the report stated that the poultry industry in the UK has achieved a 90.6% drop in the use of very important antibiotics.
Activists in the sector, managed to reduce the overall use of antibiotics by 39.36 percent over the past year.
The UK poultry producers appear to be at the forefront of international efforts to effectively preserve antibiotics for future generations and counteract antimicrobial resistance, including antibiotics which are very important for human health, are used only as the "last resort" for poultry and turkeys.
