The German company-ABP has succeeded in designing and producing a new packaging for animal protein products that reduces up to 70% of the use of plastic materials in the industry.

This type of packaging includes a recyclable sheet that covers the product with a thin layer of film made from skin and plastic.
It should be noted that, according to estimates, this type of packaging has no effect on the shelf life of protein products. Although some believe that the holes embedded in the plate make it possible to hang products in the refrigerator and in better air circulation.
The company unveiled its new packaging last week at the Anuga Food Fair, the world's largest food and beverage exhibition.
